The iridescence effect on the oxide surface is due to the interference caused by the overlapping of light waves in the same space. When the white light (consisting of several wave components, i.e. red, yellow, green, blue and purple) hits the tin of the pore mouth, it is reflected on the walls of the pore body and travels different distances depending on its shape. As a result of this process, the human eye will only see one single colour.
