COOLING OXIDE’S TANK TEMPERATURE OPTIMIZATION by GE – T- SAVE v.s.c. system
This is a new Computerized equipment realized by G.E. for the control and the optimization of the functions relative to the recirculating pumps of cooled water coming out from the chiller to the anodizing tanks exchange groups. The new concept is that the flow rate of the cooled water recirculation pump can vary in quantity and optimized according to the Amperes supplied by the rectifiers to the individual anodizing tanks.
This new equipment Mod. T- SAVE is composed mainly by an appropriate inverter for the speed control of the pump and supervised by a PLC with a proper Panel-View for the visualization and the programming of the temperature parameters required.
That means that, analyzing the output Ampere of each individual rectifier to the anodizing tank, it’s possible to know in advance the relevant warm formation into the anodizing tanks solution, even without any temperature probe into of those. So, the recirculation pump will send to the heat exchanger only the enough quantity of cooled water, needed for maintain the temperature at the settled point, instead of a constant maximum flow as usual systems.

Because linear range of temperature control the structure of the oxide pore is very uniform and relevant color uniformity, because of the uniform layer oxide.
Drastic reduction of cooled water recirculation with relevant advantage of energy consumption of the chiller.
